With a passion for the outdoors and new adventures, Eddyline Photography is oriented at sharing the scenic beauty of unique and beautiful places with all who dare to dream as well as those who dare to adventure. John Scott was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and makes his home in the majestic Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana. With a family history steeped in the wilderness of the area John developed an early appreciation of the rivers, mountains, and plains of Montana and the diverse landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. John was able to begin exploring areas outside of Western Montana at a young age and developed an understanding of the fragile beauty that our world has to offer. Photography became a significant part of the journey early in John's life but it wasn't until much later, through sharing outdoor adventures with his own family, that John began to consider the importance of bringing these wonders of nature to a larger audience. With a community of exceptional friends and family John has been fortunate enough to have many opportunities to venture down the roads and rivers less traveled. From short outings to grand expeditions where friendships are forged and tested, camera in hand, the journey continues with hopes of capturing the elusive moments that cause one to pause and reflect.
